The information available via this web site simply tells story after story of people committed to a cause. The cause starts and finishes in the heart of God. Our desire is to fulfil his desire. We have discovered that desire through a commitment to follow Jesus Christ. He is the reason, the pathway and the goal. As a result Grace Canberra has a unique flavour and has been shaped by the missionary purpose to which we have been called.

If we are to have a serious think about doing what Jesus wants done and preaching the gospel to every person, we need to have another look at the idea of what the "gospel" really is. Over the years of evangelical influence the idea of preaching the gospel has often been reduced to the idea of scaring people into buying a ticket for a seat in heaven when they die.
